200 km/t á oyggjarvegnum

about

"On the island of Streymoy in the Faroe Islands, there's a mountain road between the capital Tórshavn and the smaller villages in the northern part of the island. That road is called Oyggjarvegurin, 'The Island Road'.

A big part of Faroese youth culture is to drive around with one's friends — often on Oyggjarvegurin. However, because it's far from any civilisation, Faroese traffic laws are regarded more as traffic suggestions up there.

The title 200 km/t á Oyggjarvegnum translates to '125 mph on the Island Road'."
