from above.

how many years have passed?

maybe ten?

maybe thirty?

i can’t remember.

i remember how the sun

felt on my skin. or

i think i do.

but now, all i know is rock and

soot and the damp

ceiling of this fucking hole.

drip, drip.

and the crystals. they’re so beautiful.
